Karolien Nédée is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of UCLouvain Brussels, researching the legal questions around colonial collections and restitution in Belgium. Between 2022 and 2025, she was a provenance researcher for Wereldmuseum Rotterdam, retracing histories of collections from Central and South Asia, West Central Africa and South America.
