Mara Lagerweij

Since 2012, Mara Lagerweij (MA in art studies) has worked as a Holocaust-era provenance researcher at the Rijksmuseum, and in the museum’s working group on the 20th Century. She was guest curator of Looted (2024) and co-authored the accompanying book Dispossessed. She focuses on the changing meaning of objects in different cultural and political contexts.
