Annette Baumann (PhD) studied art history, classical archaeology and ancient history in Freiburg, Munich and Paris. She has worked for various galleries and museums as well as the University of Bern. Since 2009, she is the provenance researcher into the art holdings of Hanover. Particular research focuses include the visual arts of the 19th and, in particular, the 20th century.
